Kristin Platt is a resident of Mobile, AL. She is a graduate of the University of Mobile, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Vocal Performance. While at the University of Mobile, Kristin traveled all around the world with Voices of Mobile and Sounds of Mobile. One of her most memorable moments while traveling was going to the Holy Land. Kristin also received experience in the barbershop style of music by being a part of the UM group Rambunctious. After graduating, she had the privilege of founding and traveling with the music group STORY, along with being on the vocal line of the TRUTH 40th Anniversary Tour headed by Roger Breland in 2011. Kristin currently resides in Saraland, AL with her husband Skip and their son Britton.
John Blackwell is a native of Pearl, MS. John graduated from the University of Mobile with a Bachelor's of Science in Communication and a Masters of Arts in Religion from Liberty University. Music has been a part of John's life since he was nine years old. John has had a very rewarded music career. He has performed at various NBA, NFL, and MLB events. He spent five years as a recording artist and has opened for several well-known artists, including Lifehouse and Spin Doctors. Musical instruction has also been a vital part of his life, whether it has been receiving or imparting instruction into others. He currently resides in Saraland, AL with his wife Heather and their three children, Ethan, Jonah, and Kara Beth.
Assistant to the Director
Kayla Litton grew up in Mobile, Alabama. She graduated from The University of Mobile in May of 2016. She studied Business Administration with a concentration in Management. While in school, she traveled with a worship ensemble as a vocalist and cellist while also acting as the Student Government Associaiton President. When Kayla is not working to organize and assist the Legacy Team, she is leading worship at Redemption Church, Directing a worship ensemble at The University of Mobile or making music with her friends.
North Mobile Coordinator
Kourtney Campbell is a resident of Mobile, AL. She graduated from the University of Mobile with her Bachelor's of Science in Business Communication. It was at the University of Mobile where she traveled both nationally and internationally with numerous music groups such as Voices of Mobile and Sounds of Mobile. She also lived in Sydney, Australia for a year where she studied Worship and Creative Arts with Hillsong International Leadership College. She currently resides in Mobile, where she is serving as the Coordinator for Legacy of the Arts. When she's not busy with Legacy, she enjoys going for a run, teaching barre3, or simply catching a movie with family and friends.
Daniel was born and raised in Saraland, Alabama. His interest in music began at a very young age, beginning with piano and eventually transitioning to guitar. He attended Faulkner State Community College, where he was involved in the fine arts program. He began with Legacy as a guitar instructor, and is now the Coordinator for the Citronelle location. He still enjoys playing, traveling and helping lead worship.
Intro to Art Instructor
Julianne Patterson is a native of Mobile, Alabama and is currently a junior at the University of Mobile. She is earning her bachelors degree in Graphic Design and has experience in owning her own custom art business, Prints by Jules. Along with pursuing new avenues in art, Julianne also enjoys leading worship and has led locally over the past 4 years. She is on the University of Mobile Cross Country team, and enjoys running in her free time. After graduating college, she would like to continue growing her business and pursuing a career in Graphic Design.
Acoustic Guitar Instructor
Sawyer Bridges is from Alexander City, Alabama. He is currently studying Worship Leadership at The University of Mobile with a primary focus in guitar. He has been playing guitar for eleven years and is deeply passionate about music and enjoys sharing it with others.
Piano and Vocal Instructor
Stevi McGee is a vocal and piano Instructor from the town of Sylacauga, Alabama. She began taking music lessons at the age of six years old. She is now a Senior Sociology major at The University of Mobile. During her time at the University, she has had the opportunity to perform in various productions with the University choir as well as receive private instruction for both piano and voice. She is passionate about music and hopes that she can spread that same enthusiasm to her students each week.

Dylan Miller is a senior at the University of Mobile where he studies Worship Leadership with an emphasis in Music Business. After graduation in May 2017, Dylan plans to make his dreams of becoming a full-time musician a reality. Before coming to Mobile, Dylan lived in Atlanta, GA with his family. Music was a way of life for him growing up as he was surrounded by it with his family, and it still remains a large part of who he is today.
Vocal and Drama Instructor
JoAnna Barnhill is a voice and drama Instructor here at Legacy. She is currently a student at the University of Mobile, and after graduation hopes to pursue a career in Worship Leading. She has always loved singing and acting since she was a child, and her passion for it has only grown over the years. One of her favorite things about being an Instructor is seeing how the students develop the talents they are studying. When the students finally realize that they can be creative and make their pieces their own, it truly makes the time with them worthwhile!
Piano, Drama and Voice Instructor
Austin Boyett is a senior Music Education major at the University of Mobile from Woodstock, GA, and teaches voice, piano, and drama. He has been studying performing arts for nearly fifteen years, and was recently seen on stage as Man in Chair in The Drowsy Chaperone and Bela Zangler in Crazy for You at the University of Mobile. This is his third year teaching with Legacy.

Hello! My name is Morgan Cleveland. I call Knoxville, Tennessee my home, but am currently in my second year of studying music education at the University of Mobile. I have been playing classical piano for 13 years now and have been playing guitar for 6. God made it clear to me when I was in 11th grade, that my purpose is to show His love to kids and bring Him glory by becoming a music teacher. I am very excited to invest in the lives of students who are a part of the Legacy of the Arts program!

Ashton Lewis is a Senior Music Business and Communications major at the University of Mobile. She has been taking vocal lessons with a passion for both music and theatre since a young age. She enjoys learning and teaching others about proper vocal techniques. She is pursing her degrees in hopes of doing Public Relations in the recording industy.
Classical Voice and Drama
Nathanael Hicks is a junior vocal performance major at the university of Mobile. He has performed in musicals, operas, plays, and church drama teams for the past eight year as well as studying voice for the past six years. For the past two years has traveled with Act1, an acting ensemble, that he has been a student leader in for two years now.

Garrett Romine grew up in Mobile, Alabama. He is currently attending The University of Mobile. He is pursuing a degree in Worship Leadership while leading a worship ensemble called Impact.
Zac Moore is currently a Worship Leadership major at the University of Mobile. His hometown is Winston-Salem, NC and he has been attending the University of Mobile since the fall of 2013. He teach the drums, and his passion is for music. He thoroughly enjoys teaching students and, in the process, furthering his own knowledge of music.
